Magic and Mystics selected for England U14 and U15 selection camps

Congratulations to Manchester Mystics’ Mojan Malek, Jane Oboavwoduo, Tiana Walker, Anya Williams (U15), Wayet Gore, Paige Jagger, Sonia Matei, Irene Oboavwoduo (U14), and Manchester Magic’s Rufus Everatt, Dominic Goodwin, Jack Odongo, Ayomikun Olofintila (U15) David Akhidime, Luca Boothe, Ege Cakmakkaya, Camran Hanson (U14), who have all been selected for England Selection Camps ahead of a busy few months of the England Talent Programme.

Groups of U14 and U15 boys and girls have been invited to attend the camp at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester. 

From the camp, squads will be selected for a range of ETP tournaments and games across the spring and summer, with all players attending featuring in at least one squad.

Magic and Mystics selected for Tri-Nations Tournament

Congratulations to Manchester Magic and Mystics’ Emmanuel Oyebadejo (U16), Eleni Vourliotis (U16), Saul May (U18) and Jade Mbam (U18) who have been selected to represent England in a new Tri-Nations Tournament at the National Basketball Performance Centre on 21st and 22nd December.

The event aims to provide an opportunity for Under 16 and Under 18 male and female players from across Britain to come together to showcase their talents, with teams from England, Scotland and Wales in attendance.

Saul May England U18

Magic’s May earns England U18 call-up

Manchester Magic player and Loreto College student Saul May has been selected to represent England U18s at the Future Stars junior international tournament this weekend.

Fresh from taking part at the 2019 Deng Camp, the 6ft 5in small forward will be part of an England squad up against the likes of Maccabi Teddy Tel Aviv and Rytas Vilnius.

The event returns for the first time since 2013 and runs from 30 August to 1 September at Brunel University.

Past Future Star tournaments have featured the likes of Rudy Gobert, Dario Saric and Tomas Satoransky.
